Eliot has worked for over six years in the non-profit sector in Latin America. He has worked as an environmental consultant and advisor to climate change negotiations at the U.N. He received his masters degree in environmental management from Yale University. Eliot brings to Runa his expertise in agricultural cooperative development, tropical forestry, and non-profit management.

Eliot Logan-Hines es co-fundador de Runa y actualmente preside el rol de Director Ejecutivo en Runa Foundation. Posee un Master Degree en Environmental Management de Yale University y trabajó como consultor ambiental en las Naciones Unidas.

Runa, lo que empezó como un proyecto de amigos universitarios, se ha convertido en una de las empresas de mayor crecimiento en todo el Ecuador. A la par, Runa Foundation ha ayudado a miles familias indígenas en el desarrollo de negocios sostenibles a través de la generación de planes de negocios y capital semilla. También, han ayudado a poner en marcha diez cooperativas de comercio justo o "Fair Trade" de Guayusa.

• Runa ha sido destacada en la revista Forbes en el listado de "30 under 30" en la sección de Vino y Comida.

• Runa ha sido elogiada en el libro de Richard Branson, "Screw Business as Usual¨. Donde Branson alienta a emprendores a ver más allá de los márgenes de ganancia y en su lugar crear negocios que hagan un bien al planeta y a sus habitantes.
