We are very excited to be able to talk with Richard Tait. Described by
GeekWire as “
one of the Seattle area’s most accomplished entrepreneurs,” Richard Tait started his career at Microsoft where he worked for almost a decade and started over a dozen different start up initiatives. After leaving the software company he co founded Cranium, which quickly became one of the fastest selling games in history and ultimately saw the company release over 40 games and toys in more than 20 markets throughout the world. Cranium was sold to Hasbro in 2007. Tait then went to work for Starbucks helping drive their quest for healthier food and beverage options, working closely on the turnaround and helped rebrand the Seattles Best Coffee and Tazo tea.
Post Starbucks Richard co-founded
Golazo, the Natural Sports Fuel beverage brand that has soccer in its heart, and has quickly become one of the best selling beverages in Whole Foods and other natural health retailers in the Pacific Northwest. Representative of Seattle’s entrepreneurial culture and spirit, he has founded the innovation lab, Boom Boom brands and worked closely with some of the regions local entrepreneurs to bring multiple brands to market. His personal mantra, Orville Wright did not have a pilots license.
