After graduating from University, Emma moved to China to set up BE Education with her now husband. BE has since grown in size and scope from a small low-budget startup to one of China's leading education providers. In recognition, BE has been voted ‘China’s Best Education Service Provider’ for the last 4 years by the prestigious Hurun Report. Emma now manages BE's Study Abroad Division which includes 5 programmes for summer/winter study, publishes a highly-valued ‘Schools Guide’ on US and UK education, offers tutorial services and helps guide hundreds of students to schools in the US, UK and Switzerland. In January 2016, BE took the next step in its growth by partnering with the world-class Wycombe Abbey boarding school to launch the first and only foreign-owned boarding school in China. This represents a major shift from previous entrants as it focuses on the huge potential of developing the local market, as opposed to study abroad.
