This year marks the 20th anniversary of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Spain, presenting significant opportunities for collaboration in trade, technology, and culture. Under the guidance and support of both governments, we are proud to announce the launch of the Novo Global Congress (NGC).

Vision and Purpose:

The NGC event, themed "Sino-Iberoamérica Innovation Convergence, Cross-Border Multi-Industry Synergy," is a three-day congress designed to foster collaboration and innovation between China and Spanish-speaking regions. Bringing together over 300 participants, including government officials, industry association leaders, top executives, academic professionals, emerging startups, and investment representatives, the event serves as a platform to advance technological and industrial partnerships.

Structured around the "1+1+X+X" framework, NGC features a Sino-Spanish Innovation Dialogue Summit, the signing of cooperation agreements, multiple on-site visits, and industrial matchmaking sessions. By leveraging Shanghai's position as a global innovation hub, the Congress aims to accelerate technological advancements, industry modernization, and capital integration, strengthening cross-border synergies in technology, industry, and innovation.

SIAB 上海中小企业国际合作协会

The Shanghai International Cooperation Association of Small and Medium Businesses (abbreviated as "SIAB") was established on September 21, 1992. The first legal representative and president of the association was Shanghai's Deputy Mayor, Jiang Yiren. Subsequently, Huang Qifan (former Mayor of Chongqing) and Tang Dengjie (former Governor of Fujian Province) served as honorary presidents. Other notable advisors have included Jiang Shangzhou and Xu Jianguo, both Deputy Secretaries-General of the Shanghai Municipal Government, Wu Ming, Secretary of the Shanghai Financial Party Committee, Sheng Huanye, Vice President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Wang Hong, President of Shanghai University of Engineering Science. Xu Zhiyi, Director of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, served as president for two terms.

Pudong Jinqiao金桥开发区管委会

Jinqiao is the first national-level development zone in China named as an "Export Processing Zone."Over the past 30 years, it has successfully transitioned from "Jinqiao Manufacturing" to "Jinqiao Intelligent Manufacturing." Jinqiao has established a high-end industrial system that integrates advanced manufacturing and modern service industries, focusing on future vehicles, intelligent manufacturing, and new communications. Looking ahead, Jinqiao aims to build a world-class "Intelligent Manufacturing City" characterized by leadership in smart manufacturing, demonstration of industrial transformation, innovation in urban functions, and a commitment to green and low-carbon development.
