About this event

Shaolong Sui is a Stanford engineering alumni who majored in smart product design. He worked at Tesla in 2012, where he designed the battery pack and testing systems for the Model S. He then joined Apple and designed cameras for the iPhone 6/6+. He saw the potential of the robotics market and founded ROBOTERRA in 2014 with a partner in California. Today he is the Greater China CEO, leading 40 employees in Beijing, Shanghai and Xi'an.

ROBOTERRA is an educational robotics leader in smart device design, cognitive sciences, user experience design, and gamification in education. The company develops proprietary robotics kits and cloud platform with gamified contents for learning.

The lack of STEM teachers and content are pain points worldwide. ROBOTERRA's kits and cloud learning platform - CastleRock - enable K-12 kids to learn C++ programming and other STEM topics related to robotics. Today more than 200 schools are working with ROBOTERRA, from primary schools to universities like Tsing Hua.

ROBOTERRA has been recognized as the "Star Company of The Year" by World Education Technology Summit (2014) and "Top 30 Innovations Company" by Silicon Valley Innovation Forum (2015).
