Richard is a venture capitalist with a strong IT background and a “hands on” investment approach. DJF is one of Silicon Valley's foremost VCs, with investments in heavyweights such as Tesla, Space-X and Twitter. At DFJ Dragon Fund, Richard focuses on M2M, Wireless Sensor Networks, and multi-sensor data and information fusion technologies for Smart Grid and Internet of Things market in China. Prior to joining DFJ, Richard was Managing Director of China Smart Strategies where he worked closely with China handset manufacturers.
