Startup Grind Shenzhen 2026 Startup Pitch Party has brought together 8 startup teams at various stages of development . When we bring these teams together, the outline of how AI will enter the physical world begins to take shape:

It could be a real–to–sim simulation engine that converts ordinary two–dimensional video into robot training data.

It could also be a consumer–grade smart exoskeleton designed to help ordinary people perform heavy–load hiking and mountain climbing ；

It could also be a long–term, online AI–based companion portrait. At the same time, some teams have been experimenting with non–contact monitoring, zone–based temperature control, and algorithms to transform ordinary bed sheets into a new entry point for sleep 。 Some teams have integrated AI capabilities directly into users’ real–life learning scenarios, transforming AI from “a tool that must be turned on in order to use it” into “ an AI tutor that is always present, visible, and able to understand the learning process.” , thereby delivering a more natural, more timely, and less intrusive smart family education experience。Entrepreneurs who have more than 18 years of experience in healthcare, IVD, and precision diagnostics have combined home sampling, multi–omics data, and AI to explore new approaches to female health risk stratification .

At an even more fundamental level, the team brings AI Native。Chip , high–speed gateways , and related computing technologies all aim to address the computing power and connectivity issues that arise when smart hardware is put into practical use.

There are also entrepreneurs with backgrounds at Yale, Meta, and McKinsey who use fine–tuned models to explore companion–based logical problem solving—and to investigate the still–undefined boundaries between AI, education, and interactive content.

Xiao Shubo, Shenzhen Innovation Academy is a builder of entrepreneurial ecosystems—responsible for entrepreneur ecosystems, PMP, external relations, and hackathons—and has connected more than 10,000 hardware entrepreneurs.

Lexie Ma

Lexie Ma (Ma Hui), founder of Good Taste Consulting, has long provided consulting services on product and brand strategy, market entry, and global expansion to startups and growth-stage teams in the robotics, AI, and smart hardware sectors.

She joined DJI in 2014 to participate in the construction of the global consumer marketing and market entry system, collaborating with product, engineering, and regional market teams to drive multiple hardware products into international markets, and later took charge of DJI's North American consumer marketing。Since then, she has LingoAce been responsible for market work during the international expansion phase, and early on in Silicon Valley home robotics company Matic Robots, she participated in product storytelling, market positioning, and the go-to-market process from zero to one。After that, Matic received a 10/10 product rating from WIRED.

Her work spans robotics, AI hardware, and global consumer technology. She excels at bridging engineering expertise, user behavior, and cultural context, enabling teams to transform technical capabilities into products that users truly understand, trust, and adopt.

Robin Luo

Robin Luo, founder and editor of Here in Shenzhen. Here in Shenzhen is a business platform rooted in Shenzhen, helping global entrepreneurs and teams understand, explore and connect the supply chain and manufacturing ecosystem in Shenzhen.

Robin has long worked with startups, factories, engineering teams and local partners.
