A lovely, creative, adventurous girl, Chenyu Zheng (AKA Sister Apple), arrives at the blooming May Shenzhen Startup Grind - now the co-founder of Whisper in China, the anonymous social networking tool that made a splash and is quite popular among U.S. college students.
Graduated from Princeton, studied at Oxford (UK), Ghana (Africa), Spain and various foreign countries, she has done quite a lot cross-disciplinary things - worked at Morgan Stanley at Wall Street, joined Whisper, first one in the category of anonymous social networking applications, co-founded Whisper App in Shenzhen in summer 2014, connecting like-minded strangers, and now is the COO of the App.
A coffee lover who visited hundreds of coffee places in the world and wrote down her amazing journeys.
As a strong advocate for green environment, she was the COO of global community of JUCCE for four years, using her incredible passion and execution to link young Asians who care deeply about environment from all over the world.
As a painter since elementary school, she drew stories of Silicon Valley, great entrepreneurs and tech giants. She finished 15 pieces of portraits of entrepreneurs in 100 days, and exhibited at Sequoia Capital New York Conference and top universities in both U.S. and China, spreading inspiring stories to more. Currently the exhibition is being held at 3W Coffee, Yuanxin Store in Shenzhen.
