As AI begins to move from screens into cars, robots, factories, and urban spaces,
We are entering a new phase: Technology is no longer just generating information; it is also beginning to perceive the environment and make judgments. And take action in the real world.
Physical AI is bridging digital intelligence with the physical world. But for a technology to truly enter industry and daily life, Algorithms, hardware and capital are not enough.
It also requires real-world scenarios, cross-disciplinary collaboration, user feedback, public understanding, and long-term accumulated trust. These are precisely where communities can play a role in.
From minimalism to human resilience
In 2026, Startup Grind Shenzhen enters its 12th year. As a community organization operated entirely by volunteers, we actively apply minimalist principles to foster an open, accessible space where entrepreneurs and startups can freely share authentic business experiences and life insights, while maintaining sustainable and stable operations.
While traversing several cycles of commercial rise and fall driven by technological change, we have deeply experimented with purely... “Values (Give First, Help Others, Make Friends) " Drive the construction of a community vision that is impactful, high-quality, and sustainable.
These community actions gradually led us to a simple conclusion: genius and genius companies are not planned, they are chaotic and counterintuitive. But with vigorous vitality, it often requires soil akin to a wild tropical rainforest—this is precisely the power of a good community .
On August 29, Startup Grind Shenzhen 2026 Social District Construction Public Class opened again. Not only serves as a training course for volunteers within the community, but also draws our minds to new issues such as Community Building in the Era of Physical AI. And how to help communities have it People are resilient. nature. At the same time, we also want to renew our advocacy in an era when the virtual world is extremely developed: The value of deep trust, focusing on the present, returning to the physical world, and face-to-face collaboration.
