Josh Steimle is a writer, speaker, and entrepreneur. He has written over 200 articles for publications like Inc, Forbes, Mashable, TechCrunch, Fast Company, and Time, and is the author of Chief Marketing Officers at Work. He is the CEO of MWI, a digital marketing firm he founded in 1999 with offices in Asia and the U.S, and is the director of the Hong Kong chapter of Startup Grind. Entrepreneur magazine recently recognized Steimle as one of 50 Online Marketing Influencers To Watch in 2016, and social media research firm Leadtail recently ranked Steimle #11 on their list of People Most Mentioned and Retweeted by CMOs. He has held various board positions on or otherwise worked with non-profit entities related to adoption, education, entrepreneurship, economics, and government policy. Steimle holds a Masters of Information Systems Management from Brigham Young University (BYU). Steimle started his marketing agency while a student at BYU where he won the BYU Business Plan Competition in 2001. Steimle was also named the Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2002 by the Utah chapter of the Small Business Administration.
Alessandro Cormio is a digital designer from Italy with extensive experience working with leading European brands such as IBM Europe, Ferrari, and Ducati. His main focus is UX/UI for apps and web design, but he has also worked in branding, graphic design, and content design.
He is currently based in Shenzhen working as the Visual Designer for Somos Digital, an American and French owned digital marketing company helping brands reach new markets and achieve faster growth. He also does occasional freelance projects for clients in Europe.
He is an experienced strategy and communications professional from Canada with 15 years of experience in China. Fully bilingual (written/spoken) Chinese and English, Chris recently put on a parka and travelled through the Canadian arctic to document how Huawei is helping to connect Canada’s Far North. In his professional career, Chris has worked with hundreds of companies, and dozens of Fortune 500 enterprises, serving as a constructive bridge between Canada and China. He holds an MBA from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), and is a passionate badminton player and chess player.
