About this event

Daniel Tomov turns our attention to early funding options a week before Christmas we are to wrap up the year with an open and insightful fireside chat with Daniel Tomov – one of the founders and drivers of the already well-known Eleven accelerator. Daniel has vast experience in self-starting, helping starting companies in business development, strategy and, of course, funding. His early efforts in the field included the 2000 set-up of an IT seed fund in Bulgaria. Through the years he has been involved in private equity projects and deals, renewables investments and lately the EU-backed accelerator initiative. After more than one year of Eleven operations and several batches of bright and international teams working on their quest to conquer the world, Daniel has plenty of stories, do’s and don’ts for the entrepreneurs to share. What it takes to make the first step, how to continue along the road and what to look at after the (hm) short stay at an accelerator is expected to be shared based on first-hand day-after-day experience. You should also look forward to learn more about the pros and cons of bootstrapping, seed funding, striking a deal with strategic investors and business angels support. Plus some news and details about a fresh initiative on establishing a Sofia Business Angels club, its aims and aspirations.
