About this event

We are extremely exited to announce we will be hosting Mayte Carvalho! A marketeer, best-selling author and professor, currently serving as the Director of Business strategy at TBWA\Chiat Day Los Angeles.

Elected by GQ magazine - Conde Nast - as one of Brazil's six great female founders, Mayte Carvalho is a former entrepreneur with a Tech and Ventures background, which she applies to Advertising and Comms.

Mayte also shares Innovation and Communication content on her social media, with a community of 60.000 followers on Instagram.

Her best-selling book Persuasion: Practical Guide (launched in Brazil) prepares the reader for the challenges of communication and expression in the workplace and personal relationships. She sold more copies than Rich dad, poor dad last Q4 2020.

Due to the book's success, during International Women's month 2021, Amazon invited Mayte to read the book chapters as mini-classes, becoming the first female human voice for Alexa in Latin America. Mayte is also the Winner of the Brazilian version of The Apprentice Special edition and fundraised her startup on Sharktank. She is also part of the AdWeek Executive Mentorship 2021 Cohort.

We are grateful for Mayte's time, where we hope she can inspire others to set out and execute on those audacious goals!
