This month we feature a successful founder who is combining her passion for inclusion and diversity with economic and social impact. Come meet Lindsey Haaser, a social entrepreneur that started Advocations in 2009 with a focus on assisting companies with disability recruiting.

In 2015 Lindsey narrowed Advocations’ their focus to autism and expanded services to Fortune 500 customers including Wells Fargo, Meijer, Boston Scientific, National Cash Register (NCR), etc. In 2017, Advocations won the National Small Business Administration’s SCORE Award for “Outstanding Job Creator.”

While Advocations has helped over 4,200 people find jobs, 19.2 million working-age adults with disabilities remain unemployed. It’s like filling a glass of water one drop at a time, and it’s time to make a splash. To do this, Lindsey is preparing to launch her second startup, Notable, a data-driven diversity application that we will explore in detail in the fireside chat.

Lindsey holds a Computer Science degree from the University of Virginia, Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling from the Medical College of Virginia, and attends the Executive Program at Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business.
