Melisse Shaban is Founder & CEO of North Carolina-based startup Reason To Believe (RTB), which is creating technology-based breakthroughs for the health of hair, skin, and nails that provide visible, transformational results.
In January of 2006 she formed Chrysallis LLC, a full-service strategic management team dedicated to the nurturing and development of niche retail brands to position them for future growth and success. As Founder and Managing Partner, Melisse is charged with identifying unique concepts for investment, development, and growth.
In addition to Reason to Believe, she has overseen investments in companies including StriVectin, the largest independent prestige anti-aging skin care brand in America, Frédéric Fekkai, a leading prestige hair care and salon brand, and Niadyne, Inc., a company dedicated to the discovery and development of topical products for the treatment and prevention of sun damage to the skin.
