About this event

Dear Community,

How does digital relocation affect Germany? Where are we standing today and why is the topic so important to push further?

Looking back, the entire visa process for workers or students planning to stay in Germany was quite cumbersome with lots of regulations and policies restricting a smooth transit to a new country. However, looking at the massive trend of not only traveling but also moving to another country, the market, in general, is quite attractive. Especially in Germany, it has a certain momentum due to the lack of skilled talent over the last years. It is, therefore, no wonder that over the last years there were new laws about skilled immigration policies as well as several new players emerging shaping the landscape of relocation to Germany.

Therefore, we would like to invite you to our next Startup Grind Berlin event on November 28, at Deutsche Bank Innovation Labs.

In our panel, we welcome the founders from "Expatrio", "Visaright" and "Localyze", three startups that are helping foreigners with a fully digital solution. We will talk about how these players managed to cover the journey from planning the relocation abroad, fulfilling visa requirements and registering in Germany after arrival as well as the challenges that arise and needs to be overcome over the next few years.

We look forward to seeing you there!
