Our guest will be Mali Baum, who is one of the key people shaping female founders future and opportunities at the startup ecosystem in Berlin and Germany. She’s the CEO & Founding Partner of WLOUNGE and the recently founded MAGDA Group, a fund of fund focused on EU technology and diverse teams, building more success stories and uplifting the tech ecosystem in Europe and beyond. Mali is a serial entrepreneur and has over 20 years’ experience building businesses all around the world. In 2019, she was a finalist for the ‘Digital Female Leader Award’. She is a jury member of several startup competitions, a mentor at TechStars, the Founder Institute, the Berlin Partner-Start Alliance, the Startup Bootcamp and others. Mali is actively involved in governmental activities, corporate’s M&A , VCs , universities and startups to promote the local tech ecosystem locally and globally and pushing it for onboarding more women in influential positions. As a lecturer at universities on entrepreneurship, diversity and international business, she encourages young women and men to “write their own story” and be the creator of their own business lives. We invite everyone who is curious about what Mali is doing, what she is building and what she has done in the past to join us for an open discussion.
