Pitch-a-Kid + MassChallenge = Crossing the Finish Line

Dec 14, 2017, 1:00 – 3:00 AM

When answering his daughter's questions about a startup he was working on, Mike Millard decided to create a way to encourage her generation's natural curiosity for entrepreneurship. Pitch-a-Kid was born! Mike is also the MD for MassChallenge Texas, the most startup-friendly accelerator on the planet.

In-person event

About this event

This is the must-attend Grind event of 2017 for Parents, Educators, and Business Leaders.

Mike Millard, is a goal-oriented achiever

  • A Runner
  • A Leaf Raker
  • A Ping Pong Player

He's a compassionate thinker with the 'will to win.' Mike is described by peers, employers, and employees as an exceptional leader who "balances the dynamics of change and getting results." He has built upon this and other strong leadership skills consistently while running his entrepreneurial journey of creating and growing business ecosystems.

He Ushers New Ideas To Commercialization

Mike Millard's mission starts with building kids with Pitch-a-Kid while simultaneously funding startups through MassChallenge. He provides freedom for entrepreneurs to develop and grow ideas and businesses. He accomplishes his mission by empowering youth with their exposure to entrepreneurship as judges, giving them a fast understanding and quick analysis of startup, growth, and enterprise-level businesses through Pitch-a-Kid.

His mission continues as the current managing director for MassChallenge Texas, an accelerator providing mentoring from industry experts, tailored programming, free co-working space, and unrivaled access to corporate partners globally. A differentiator for MassChallenge is that they take no equity from their startups.

Whether you're running the entrepreneurial race, education race, or the race to acquire future talent, allow Mike to advise on your next steps.
