Are founders born or made? And perhaps, not everyone should be a founder!

Is entrepreneurship an innate trait or a skill anyone can develop? Are founders driven by something deeper, or do they simply acquire the right habits over time? Then, there’s the deeper opinion, not everyone should be a founder. This view is supported by the sheer number of startups that fail. So, why are you a founder? What are you building, and most importantly, why? Share below

Resolutions, Goals, Objectives, Intentions, or Nothing?

The start of the year is when most people take stock of their lives and set plans for the months ahead. For some, it is all about New Year’s resolutions. Others prefer goals or objectives, focusing on long-term aspirations or actionable steps. Then there are intentions, which feel more fluid and values-driven. And let’s not forget those who choose to skip it all, embracing a “go with the flow” mindset. Where do you fall on this spectrum? Are you a planner who thrives on structure, or do you prefer to let things unfold naturally? How do you approach growth and change in your personal or professional life?

To Co-Found or Not to Co-Found that is the Question?

Starting a company is tough enough already, but deciding whether to bring on a co-founder can be even tougher. A great co-founder can be your sounding board, complement your skills, and share the burden of the journey. But the wrong co-founder? That’s a recipe for disaster—fractured visions, conflicts, and even startup failure. What’s your take? Have you had an amazing co-founder experience? Or learned the hard way why picking the right co-founder is so critical? What traits or principles do you believe make someone a fantastic co-founder? Join the discussion and share your experiences, advice, or cautionary tales. Let’s unpack the age-old founder dilemma together, this is a space for open, respectful and thought-provoking dialogue.

Is Your Startup Truly Venture Scale—And Does It Need to Be?

Not every startup should seek VC funding. Yet, many founders find themselves chasing investment without asking the critical question: Is my startup truly venture scale? Venture capital comes with high expectations—double-digit xN returns, massive market share, and exponential growth. But is this path right for every founder? Or could focusing on sales and sustainable growth be the better route for some? Let’s discuss what it really means to build for venture scale, how to identify if your startup fits the mould, and the alternatives that might be a better fit for long-term success. To kick things off, let’s explore: What criteria do you think define a venture-scale startup? Have you ever reconsidered your approach to funding based on your startup’s scalability potential? What are the trade-offs between chasing VC funding and focusing on organic, sustainable growth? Share your experiences, insights, or even contrarian views—this is a space for open, respectful and thought-provoking dialogue.
